This site, edmysogland.com, is operated by Myso, Inc., 9333 North Meridian Street, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46260. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to send us, plus basic usage data from analytics.
- Consultation requests from the SDE calculator. Your name, email, phone number, when you are thinking about selling, and the figures the calculator produced (your SDE, the most a buyer could pay, and annual revenue).
- Contact form messages. Your name, email, and anything you write in the message.
- Newsletter signups. Your email address and, if you give it, your name.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site, collected through Google Analytics cookies.
The numbers you type into the SDE calculator stay in your browser. They are not saved or sent anywhere unless you submit the consultation form.
How we use it
- To respond to you, including the call or email you asked for.
- To send the newsletter, if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and keep in touch with you:
- HubSpot, which stores consultation requests and contact records.
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which sends the newsletter.
- Google Analytics, which measures site usage.
- Our web host, which stores contact form messages on the site’s server.
Brokerage, valuation, and M&A advisory services are provided through Indiana Business Advisors. If you ask for help with a sale or valuation, your information may be shared with Indiana Business Advisors so it can provide that help.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Google Analytics places cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and consultation records as long as they are useful for the relationship, and delete them on request. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing ed@edmysogland.com. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
Children
This site is for business owners and their advisors. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
